NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TO DISCUSS THE CITY’S PROPOSED 2020-2021 BUDGET AND MILLAGE

A Public Hearing has been scheduled for May 18, 2020 during the Regular Council Meeting at 7:00 pm at the Chelsea Municipal Building, 311 S. Main Street, for the purpose of discussing the 2020-2021 City Budget and the Property Tax Millage Rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget. HOWEVER due to COVID-19 it may be necessary to conduct the meeting electronically.  If the meeting is conducted electronically, instructions to call-in to the meeting will be on the City website.  You can also contact the City Office at 734.475.1771 for updates and instructions,

A copy of the proposed budget will be available for public inspection online at the City’s website www.city-chelsea.org as of May 15, 2020.  Please contact the City Office at 734.475.1771 if a printed copy is needed.

Public comments, either oral or written, are welcome at the Public Hearing.  Individuals with disabilities needing assistance or aid should contact the City Offices (734.475.1771) during regular working hours no later than five (5) business days prior to the date of the hearing.
