Synopsis of Budget Hearing/Special Meeting Minutes
March 16, 2020
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Maier at 6:00 PM. Present was Supervisor Maier, Clerk Bater (6:05 PM), Treasurer Havens, and Trustees Laier and Luick. There were no public comments. The agenda was approved. There were no public comments when the Supervisor called the Public Hearing to order for the 2020-2021 Budget at 6:09 PM. Supervisor Maier declared five resolutions adopted, after roll-call votes, which offered 2% increase adjustments for wages of all board members and hourly and appointed staff as follows:
RESOLUTION #2020-05
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that as of April 1, 2020, the annual salary for Township Supervisor, exclusive of assessing duties, will be $31,795.00
RESOLUTION #2020-06
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that as of April 1, 2020, the annual salary for Township Clerk will be $31,795.00
RESOLUTION #2020-07
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that as of April 1, 2020, the annual salary for Township Treasurer will be $31,795.00
RESOLUTION #2020-08
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that as of April 1, 2020, the annual salary for each of the two Township Trustees will be $3,655.00
RESOLUTION #2020-09
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that as of April 1, 2020, all hourly and appointed staff of Lima Township will have a 2% wage increase based on each respective position.
The 2020-2021 General Appropriations Act of Lima Township was approved with an operating budget of $680,700 by a unanimous, roll-call vote of the Board and the Supervisor declared the Act adopted. There were no public comments and the Budget Hearing was adjourned at 6:20 PM.
