NOTICE OF PROPERTY REZONING & PRELIMINARY PUBLIC UNIT DEVELOPMENT
The Lima Township Board of Trustees has adopted an amendment to the Lima Township Zoning Map and approved a preliminary public unit development. An application was submitted to rezone a 46.21-acre property in section 18 known as parcel G -07-18-100-032 currently zoned Agricultural (AG-2) and requesting it be changed to Medium Density Residential (R-1D). The application concurrently requested the same property be approved for a public unit development. The rezoning is consistent with the goals, policies and Future Land Use Map of the Lima Township Master Plan. The public unit development has many contingencies yet to be met and is based on coming to an agreement with the City of Chelsea as they are the ones with the infrastructure that would support the development.
